New 2020 Dates

In light of recent developments, including significant changes to CDC guidelines for large events, the NAPA Leadership Council has decided to reschedule the upcoming 2020 NAPA 401(k) Summit.

What are the new dates for Summit 2020?

The NAPA 401(k) Summit will now take place September 10-12, 2020 in Orlando, Florida. The event will take place at Loews Royal Pacific and Loews Sapphire Falls Resorts, as well as Universal Orlando.

 

Will the agenda change for Summit 2020?

The agenda for the Summit will be the same, just on new dates:

Thursday, September 10
  • CPFA Bootcamp 8AM – 12 PM
  • Exhibit Hall 11 AM – 7 PM
  • Education Sessions 12 PM – 5 PM
  • Cocktail Reception 5 PM – 7 PM
  • Summit After Dark at Universal City Walk 9 PM – 1 AM

 

Friday, September 11
  • Sponsored Breakfast Sessions 7:30 – 8:30 AM
  • Education Sessions 8:30 AM – 5 PM
  • Exhibit Hall 7 AM – 7 PM
  • Cocktail Reception 5 PM – 7 PM

I’m already registered for the April Summit.  Now What?

If you were registered for the April event, NAPA will automatically roll your registration over to the new September dates.  There is no further action required by you for your registration.

If you were registered for the April event, but you are unable to attend, NAPA will process a full refund.  Please click here to submit your refund request.  Refunds will take approximately 1-2 weeks to process.

 

Can I get a refund for my Summit registration?

If you were registered for the April event, but you are unable to attend, NAPA will process a full refund. Please click here to submit your refund request. The deadline for cancellations/refunds is August 28, 2020. Refunds will take approximately 1-2 weeks to process.

I have a hotel reservation for April.  What should I do?

If you booked a hotel room in the NAPA room block at one of our official NAPA Hotels (Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort  or Portofino Bay Hotel) the hotel will automatically cancel your reservation and refund any deposits that you may have made.  The hotel will send you a confirmation once this is complete.

If you do not receive a cancellation notice by Friday, March 19, please contact the hotel directly (orlandoreservations@loewshotels.com) to ensure your room has been canceled.

Important: If you are booked outside of our block or at another hotel in Orlando, you must contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation.  NAPA cannot cancel your hotel reservation.

 

How do I book a hotel reservation for September?

All participants in the September Summit will need to make a NEW hotel reservation.  Good News!  We’ve negotiated hotel rates that are 10% lower.  To make a new hotel reservation, please click here.

 

What should I do about my airline ticket?

Please contact your airline directly.

 

How do I submit a new registration for the September Summit?

Registration for the September event is open.  The registration rates will stay the same. Please click here to register.

 

How do I purchase Guest Passes for Summit After Dark Events?

Guest passes for After Dark will be available for purchase onsite at Summit. The cost for an adult guest ticket is $100 per guest, per night.  Kids tickets (under 13) for the Friday After Dark event are $45 per child.

 

I canceled my registration earlier this year and was charged a $100 admin fee. Will that be refunded?

Yes. NAPA will refund your $100. Please contact Accounts Receivable with your request: accountsreceivable@usaretirement.org.  If you would like to attend NAPA Summit in September, we can reinstate your previous registration and credit the $100 towards the purchase.  Please let our accounts receivable team know and they can assist you.

What is planned for Summit After Dark in September?

On Thursday night, September 10, we’ve reserved Universal’s CityWalk Orlando exclusively for Summit attendees, including live music and open bars at Pat O’Briens, Bob Marley’s, Rising Star Karaoke, Antojito’s, the Red Coconut lounge, The Groovenightclub, Fat Tuesdays, and more.

On Friday, September 11, we’ll be at Universal Islands of Adventure Theme Park featuring amazing attractions like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and the Lost Continent and more!

 

Will the CE for Summit change?

Some session topics and speakers may change, depending on developments in the industry and speaker availability at the new dates.  There may be small changes in CFP and other third-party credit available depending on the final sessions offered, but this will be no different than any previous NAPA Summit.  We will work to update the CE information as soon as the educational sessions are finalized.

 

Is the NAPA CPFA Bootcamp still on?

Yes!  NAPA CPFA Bootcamp will take place on Thursday, September 10 from 8am-12pm and on Saturday, September 12 from 12-4pm. NAPA CPFA Exams are on Sunday, September 13 at 8am and 1pm.

 

How do I sign up to exhibit at NAPA 401(k) Summit?

Will there be a Summit in 2021?

Yes! NAPA Summit in 2021 will take place in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay, April 25-27.
